The
ultimate in weather data collection and display is the Oregon
Scientific Cable Free™ weather station. This small and compact
wireless wonder collects and displays data from five different
measurement components: indoor temperature, outdoor temperature,
hygrometer, self-emptying rain gauge and anemometer for wind
direction and speed. The weather station also includes the weather
forecaster function, data memory, and a clock with calendar plus
alert alarms for when the weather exceeds the user pre-set minimum

A new family of instruments uses Oregon Scientific's innovative
CableFree™ technology to transmit information from outdoor
sensors to indoor displays. They operate with wireless 433 MHz
radio-frequency transmissions that can be received from 100 to 300
feet away, depending on the unit.
Wireless, Solar-Powered Sensors
Highlighting this new CableFree™ series is the Home Weather
Station (Model WMR-968) that monitors and memorizes over 20
weather and environmental conditions. It not only incorporates
wireless sensors, but they are also solar-powered for complete
installation convenience and ease of use.
The new Weather Station is the ultimate statement from Oregon
Scientific, a company that has built its reputation on creating
unique forecasting and monitoring instruments.
