ExactSet™ projection atomic clocks |
A unique new way to
read the time in the middle of the night -- with a soft red
digital display projected onto your ceiling or wall. It's the
first projection alarm clock that sets time, day and date
automatically by receiving radio signals from the U.S. Atomic
Clock.
Projection clocks do more than simply remind you of appointments
or wake you up; projection clocks actually spot time by casting
luminous digits on walls or ceilings. Oregon Scientific’s latest
edition to the ExactSetTM projection clock product line even
features a Cable FreeTM weather forecaster.
The split-second timeliness of the projection clock is achieved
through its internal radio receiver that automatically responds to
a signal broadcast by the U.S. Atomic Clock, one of the most
accurate clocks in the world. This extraordinary timepiece,
located near Boulder, Colorado, is operated by the U.S. Department
of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The Projection Clock synchronizes digital time and date display
with the Atomic Clock's signals six times daily -- at 2, 3, 4, and
9 a.m. as well as 3 and 8 p.m. And it automatically adjusts for
daylight saving time and leap year.
Oregon Scientific NOAA and NOAA weather radios with S.A.M.E.
technology are available in tabletop and portable hand-held
